Tolkien Fans Behold: You Are a Click Away from Middle-earth!

Tolkien introduced us to Middle-earth. Then, Peter Jackson made the Fantastic LOTR trilogy, and now Google took things seriously and created a virtual journey through this stunning fantasy land.

Internet users can use their computers or smartphones to engage into an adventure in hobbit land starting November 22nd. Namely, counting the days until the world premiere of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”, Google joined forces with New Line Cinema, Warner Bros, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and presented its new experiment “Journey through Middle-earth”.

“You don’t have to be monsters or wizards anymore to be able to engage in an adventure in Middle-earth”, wrote Christos Apartoglou, a Google representative on the company’s official blog. A click is enough.

This service was primarily designed for Chrome users, but soon enough became available for other search engines as well. Therefore, if you are ready for a Journey through Middle-earth, just click thehobbit.com/middle-earth.
